Your Ideal Party Bus Company in Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh is a city built on bridges — 446 of them, more than any other city on the planet — and getting a group from the North Shore to Mount Washington or from Oakland to the Strip District means crossing rivers and navigating some of the most congested corridors in Western Pennsylvania. Party Buses Pittsburgh has been coordinating group transportation across the city since 2011, and in that time we've handled everything from 15-passenger minibuses for wedding shuttles between the William Penn Hotel and venues in the North Hills, to full fleets of 56-passenger charter buses for large-scale conventions at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
Every quote is all-inclusive and available online in under 30 seconds — you'll know the exact price before you ever commit. Our 24/7 reservation team is one quick call away for any logistical question, whether it's figuring out the best approach to Acrisure Stadium on a Sunday or arranging a pickup on Penn Avenue after a show at Stage AE. We offer a wide variety of vehicle sizes, so you never pay for more seats than your group actually needs.
If you've got 20 people heading across the Fort Pitt Tunnel for a night in the South Hills, we match you to the right bus at the right price. Call 412-894-0966 any time for a free, no-obligation price quote!

Why Choose Our Pittsburgh Party Bus Service?
Getting a large group across Pittsburgh means navigating some genuinely tricky geography. The tunnels back up. The Parkway East crawls.
Liberty Avenue through the Strip District gets gridlocked on game days and festival weekends alike. And parking near Acrisure Stadium on a Sunday afternoon? Forget finding something within a 10-minute walk for less than $50.
Party Buses Pittsburgh takes all of that off your plate.
Since 2011, we've coordinated thousands of group trips for school field trips, corporate events, weddings, prom nights, sporting events, and everything in between — and our 24/7/365 reservation team means there's always a real person available to help you plan, adjust an itinerary, or handle a last-minute change. Every booking comes with exact, all-inclusive pricing before you commit, so there are no surprises at the end of the night.
We offer a massive variety of vehicles, meaning you never have to pay for seats you do not actually need. Whether your group is 15 people heading to a Penguins game at PPG Paints Arena or 56 people shuttling between the Pittsburgh International Airport and a hotel in Cranberry Township, Party Buses Pittsburgh has the right vehicle matched to your headcount, your itinerary, and your budget. Call 412-894-0966 any time for a no-obligation price quote in minutes!
Our Group Transportation Services in Pittsburgh
Party Buses Pittsburgh coordinates group transportation for every occasion across Western Pennsylvania — from airport transfers and wedding shuttles to prom nights, Steelers tailgates, corporate events, and brewery crawls through Pittsburgh's best neighborhoods. Whatever brings your group together, we have a vehicle and a plan ready. Call 412-894-0966 to get moving today!

Pittsburgh Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Pittsburgh International Airport (1000 Airport Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15231) sits roughly 17 miles west of Downtown Pittsburgh via I-376 West — a 25-minute drive in light traffic that routinely stretches past 45 minutes on weekday afternoons when the Parkway West clogs heading through the airport corridor. Trying to coordinate a dozen rideshares from the terminal for a group that landed on different concourses is exactly the kind of chaos a Pittsburgh airport shuttle bus rental cuts out.
For ground transportation pickup, charter buses pick up at the Ground Transportation Center on the lower Arrivals level. Have your group coordinator contact us once your full party has collected luggage and assembled together — never call the bus in while stragglers are still at baggage claim. If your group is heading downtown to a convention at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center or catching a cruise from the Port of Pittsburgh, we map the route from the terminal to your door, every stop included.
We highly recommend reviewing the official Pittsburgh International Airport ground transportation page before your arrival day. Call 412-894-0966 to book your Pittsburgh airport transportation today!

Pittsburgh Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Pittsburgh is a genuinely great bachelorette city — the South Side Flats alone run 20-plus bars along East Carson Street within a half-mile stretch, and the night can start at rooftop cocktails at Altius in Mount Washington and end at 2 a.m. at any number of spots on Carson. The problem is that driving between Mount Washington and the South Side means the Monongahela Incline or the Liberty Bridge, neither of which accommodates a group of 20 — and rideshare demand surges across the South Side on Friday and Saturday nights.
A Pittsburgh bachelorette party bus rental keeps your crew together from the first stop to the last. Build a custom itinerary that hits cocktails at Pear + the Owl in Lawrenceville, dancing at Diesel in East Liberty, then wraps up at Saddle Ridge on the North Shore — and nobody draws the short straw for who has to drive. Our 15- to 50-passenger party buses come with a full-length bar, color-changing LED lighting, and Bluetooth sound, so the energy starts the moment you pull away from the hotel.
Call 412-894-0966 now to build your Pittsburgh bachelorette itinerary!

Pittsburgh Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A birthday that deserves a party bus arrival is a birthday worth remembering. Party Buses Pittsburgh coordinates milestone celebrations of every size — a 20-passenger party bus for a 30th birthday crawl through the Strip District, a full 56-passenger charter bus for a quinceañera celebration moving between the church in Bloomfield and a reception hall in Monroeville. Our party buses are fully customizable — pre-load a playlist, request a specific bus color, and coordinate pickup windows that keep the guest of honor fashionably on time.
For adult milestone birthdays hitting spots like The Commoner in Downtown or Green Man Brewery in Mount Lebanon, no one in your party has to navigate the Fort Pitt Tunnel or find parking in the Golden Triangle — the bus handles it. Venue choices and Pittsburgh traffic can be unpredictable, but the route is coordinated for you from pickup to final drop-off. Call 412-894-0966 any time to plan your Pittsburgh birthday party bus!

Pittsburgh Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Pittsburgh's concert circuit runs from intimate theaters on the South Side to full stadium shows, and getting your group to any of them without the parking headache is what a Pittsburgh concert bus rental takes care of. PPG Paints Arena (1001 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219) hosts major touring acts year-round, with official charter bus drop-off on Fifth Avenue — right at the main entrance, not in a garage three blocks away. Stage AE (400 North Shore Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15212) draws big names on the North Shore, directly adjacent to Acrisure Stadium, meaning parking on show nights is essentially impossible without a pre-purchased pass.
The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown hosts major summer amphitheater shows — it's 25 miles southwest of Downtown on I-79 and Route 18, and the winding approach road through Burgettstown backs up for miles before gates open. Rideshare pickups at the Pavilion after the headliner are notoriously long waits. A Pittsburgh party bus rental drops your group at the gates and the bus waits nearby for pickup — no waiting in a dark parking field for a surge-priced ride.
Call 412-894-0966 to lock in your Pittsburgh concert transportation!

Pittsburgh Corporate Event Transportation
Pittsburgh's corporate calendar centers on the David L. Lawrence Convention Center (1000 Fort Duquesne Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15222), the largest certified green convention center in the world, which sits on the Allegheny River waterfront at the edge of the Cultural District. Getting a team of employees or a delegation of clients between a hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh and the convention center sounds straightforward — until you account for Fort Duquesne Boulevard closures during events and the scramble for parking in the Golden Triangle.
A Pittsburgh corporate bus rental runs continuous shuttle loops between host hotels and the convention center entrance without anyone arriving late or splitting off in separate cabs. Minibuses with WiFi and power outlets keep your team productive on longer hauls — say, from a corporate campus in Cranberry Township south on I-79 to a client dinner in the Strip District. For executive transfers, our Sprinter Van works well for smaller groups with individual climate control and USB charging at every seat.
Call 412-894-0966 to discuss Pittsburgh corporate shuttle contracts and group rates!

Pittsburgh Private Event Transportation Services
Pittsburgh's event calendar creates predictable transportation bottlenecks that a private bus rental takes care of cleanly. Three Rivers Arts Festival runs for ten days each June along the Cultural District, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Penn Avenue corridor — parking in the Cultural District essentially disappears for the duration. Three Rivers Regatta in July takes over the North Shore riverfront and the Roberto Clemente Bridge closes to vehicle traffic.
And when the Pittsburgh Irish Festival comes to Highmark Stadium in September, Duquesne University's parking situation compounds the South Side access crunch.
Instead of splitting your family reunion or corporate outing across a five-car convoy and arguing about who parks where, one private Pittsburgh charter bus rental puts your whole group in one place for one flat, predictable rate. Itineraries that hit Carnegie Mellon University, the Andy Warhol Museum, Phipps Conservatory, and the Strip District in a single day are exactly what we build custom routes for. Call 412-894-0966 and we will coordinate the transportation plan around your event!

Pittsburgh Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season in Pittsburgh — late April through May — is the single busiest stretch of the year for party bus rentals in Allegheny County. High schools across the metro including North Allegheny, Upper St. Clair, Mt. Lebanon, Peters Township, and Pine-Richland hold proms within a tight six-week window, and demand for the right vehicle at the right price spikes fast. A 30-student, 6-hour prom rental booked in December might run $1,800–$2,200 all-inclusive; the same rental booked in March will cost $2,600–$3,400 or simply not be available in the right vehicle size.
For prom: book by December or expect premium pricing or no availability. Party Buses Pittsburgh works with parent committees and student groups across Allegheny, Westmoreland, and Washington counties to confirm headcounts, coordinate pickup plans, and keep prom night on schedule — photo stops at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History included. Call 412-894-0966 today to lock in your date!

Pittsburgh School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Teachers and chaperones across Pittsburgh trust Party Buses Pittsburgh for school field trip transportation because we understand the logistics of moving student groups through a city this geographically layered. Getting a group of 50 middle schoolers from a school in the North Hills down to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History (4400 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213) in Oakland means the Parkway West, the Fort Pitt Tunnel, and Surface Lot access on Forbes Avenue — none of which a yellow school bus handles as smoothly as a full-size charter bus with undercarriage storage for lunch coolers and overhead bins for backpacks.
Charter buses also serve the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium (One Wild Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15206), Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens (One Schenley Park, Pittsburgh, PA 15213), and the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh (10 Children's Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15212), each with their own group drop-off procedures. ADA-accessible buses are always available — just flag your needs when you book. For longer educational trips to sites like Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, onboard restrooms and WiFi keep the ride productive.
Call 412-894-0966 to arrange Pittsburgh school field trip transportation!

Pittsburgh Sporting Event Transportation
Pittsburgh sports fans understand the North Shore parking situation better than anyone. On Steelers Sundays, the lots surrounding Acrisure Stadium (100 Art Rooney Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212) fill for tailgating several hours before kickoff, and the Roberto Clemente Bridge — pedestrian-only on game days — becomes the only practical route from the Cultural District. Rideshare pickups after the final whistle stack up near the casino, and post-game I-279 backs up well past the Allegheny River bridges.
A Pittsburgh sporting event charter bus handles the whole equation: your group tailgates on the way up, arrives together near the gates, and the bus waits for a post-game pickup that beats the parking lot crawl. PPG Paints Arena (1001 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219) for Penguins games is a tighter drop-off scenario — Fifth Avenue off Centre Avenue is the commercial lane closest to the main entrance. PNC Park (115 Federal St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212) for Pirates games offers a parking lot view that costs $30–$40 on game days; a Pittsburgh party bus rental consolidates your crew into a single, flat-rate arrangement and drops everyone steps from the Clemente Bridge approach.
Call 412-894-0966 to book your Pittsburgh game-day bus today!

Pittsburgh Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Pittsburgh weddings span every neighborhood — ceremonies in Shadyside churches, receptions at Heinz History Center in the Strip District, rehearsal dinners on Mount Washington with the Downtown skyline behind you. The problem is that wedding guests flying into Pittsburgh International and staying at a hotel Downtown are not going to navigate the Fort Pitt Tunnel on their own in formal wear. A Pittsburgh wedding shuttle takes care of the logistics from ceremony to reception to late-night send-off without putting the burden on anyone in the bridal party.
If your reception is at The Pennsylvanian (1100 Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222) or Heinz History Center (1212 Smallman St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222), weekend evening parking in the Strip District and the Penn-Liberty corridor is genuinely scarce. A minibus shuttle loop from your Downtown hotel to the venue entrance means no guests arriving flustered or late. Our 14-passenger Sprinter limo handles the bridal party on the day itself — premium leather, individual reading lights, and tinted privacy windows.
Because Party Buses Pittsburgh has coordinated wedding transportation since 2011, your timeline stays on schedule from first pickup to final drop-off. Call 412-894-0966 for a free Pittsburgh wedding transportation quote!

Pittsburgh Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
Pittsburgh's craft beer scene has exploded across the city's inner neighborhoods, and a Pittsburgh pub crawl party bus rental is the only way to hit all of it without anyone playing designated driver. Lawrenceville alone hosts Arsenal Cider House (300 39th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201), Allegheny City Brewing (507 Foreland St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212), and Grist House Craft Brewery's North Shore taproom (337 North Shore Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15212) — each a different neighborhood, each a parking headache on a weekend night.
Build an itinerary that starts with pours at East End Brewing (147 Julius St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206) in Point Breeze, swings through the Strip District for pierogies and a local draft at Church Brew Works (3525 Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15201), and wraps up at Hitchhiker Brewing in Mt. Lebanon — your group travels together for every stop, nobody hunts for street parking at midnight, and the per-person math on a split bus rate almost always beats individual Ubers once you do the round-trip accounting. Western Pennsylvania wine country — including Narcisi Winery in Gibsonia and Glades Pike Winery in Somerset County — is also within easy reach for a day trip. Call 412-894-0966 for a free Pittsburgh pub crawl or winery tour quote!

Frequently Asked Questions About our Pittsburgh Bus Rentals
How much does a party bus cost in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania?
Pittsburgh party bus rental prices depend on vehicle size, the date, and how long you need the bus. Our current ranges: 15–20 passenger party buses run $204–$378/hour; 20–30 passenger party buses run $244–$414/hour; 35–50 passenger party buses and minibuses run $294–$490/hour; and full-size charter buses run $150–$300/hour or $1,200–$2,500/day. Peak periods — Steelers season, prom season, and Three Rivers Arts Festival — push rates toward the top of those ranges and reduce vehicle availability.
The fastest way to get a number for your specific date and itinerary is to call 412-894-0966 — we provide all-inclusive pricing in under 30 seconds with no hidden costs.
Where does a charter bus drop off at Acrisure Stadium?
Charter buses heading to Acrisure Stadium (100 Art Rooney Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212) typically drop groups on the North Shore near the stadium's main entrance off Art Rooney Avenue. The Roberto Clemente Bridge is pedestrian-only on game days, making the North Shore approach the most direct route for a bus drop. Pre-purchased parking passes are required for all stadium-adjacent lots — none are sold day-of at the gate.
We recommend checking the official Acrisure Stadium parking page before your event date to confirm current lot assignments and any road closure details for high-profile games.
How does a charter bus pick up my group at Pittsburgh International Airport?
Pittsburgh International Airport (1000 Airport Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15231) uses a Ground Transportation Center on the lower Arrivals level for commercial bus pickups. Once your entire group has cleared baggage claim and assembled together — including anyone connecting from other concourses — your group coordinator calls to confirm the bus moves from the staging area to the commercial curbside lane. Do not make that call until everyone is together with luggage.
The drive from PIT to Downtown Pittsburgh via I-376 East runs 25–35 minutes in normal traffic; build in extra time during Steelers home game days when the Parkway West sees significant inbound congestion from fans arriving from the west. Check the official PIT ground transportation page for current commercial vehicle procedures.
When is the busiest time of year for party bus rentals in Pittsburgh?
Pittsburgh has three peak demand windows that consistently exhaust available vehicles. Prom season — late April through the last week of May — is the tightest, with high schools across Allegheny, Westmoreland, and Washington counties competing for the same vehicles in the same six-week window. Steelers home game weekends from September through January, especially prime-time games on Sunday night or Monday, drive demand on the North Shore corridor.
And summer festival season — Three Rivers Arts Festival in June, Three Rivers Regatta in July, Pittsburgh Irish Festival in September — creates day-specific surges that lock out last-minute bookers. For any of these dates, three to six months of lead time is the right target.
Can a party bus or charter bus cross the Fort Pitt Tunnel?
Yes — full-size charter buses and party buses move through the Fort Pitt Tunnel (I-376) regularly. The tunnel's standard height clearance accommodates most commercial coaches. That said, I-376 through the tunnel is Pittsburgh's single most congested point during peak hours: inbound morning rush and outbound evening rush both back up from the tunnel approach well into the Parkway West.
For event days, especially Steelers games when outbound fans compete with the standard eastbound rush, your itinerary should build in significant buffer time. We account for the Fort Pitt and Liberty Tunnels in every routing plan for Pittsburgh groups — it's one of the first things we factor when you call with your pickup location and event time.
How far in advance should I book a party bus in Pittsburgh?
We highly recommend booking your Pittsburgh party bus at least three to six months in advance for the best price and widest vehicle selection. Prom season requires booking by December — no exceptions if you want availability and reasonable pricing. Steelers home games should be booked four to eight weeks ahead at minimum, and playoff games require immediate booking the moment the schedule is confirmed.
For summer weddings, six to nine months of lead time keeps your options open. Outside peak periods, two to four weeks is workable — but the earlier you call 412-894-0966, the better your options and your rate.
Popular Pittsburgh Party Bus Destinations
A Pittsburgh party bus itinerary can reach every landmark, venue, and neighborhood that makes this city worth celebrating. Whether your group is crossing the Allegheny, heading through the Fort Pitt Tunnel, or cruising up Fifth Avenue through Oakland, our list of popular Pittsburgh party bus destinations is a strong place to start building your route.

Acrisure Stadium
Home of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Acrisure Stadium (100 Art Rooney Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212) sits on the North Shore of the Allegheny River with a capacity of 68,400 and a view of the Downtown skyline that's among the most photographed in professional football. The stadium hosts the NFL regular season from September through January, plus major college games, international soccer, and stadium-scale concerts. All stadium-adjacent lots require pre-purchased passes — lots begin opening five hours before kickoff for premium pass holders, with general lots opening three hours out.
The Roberto Clemente Bridge is pedestrian-only on game days, so your group walks straight from the North Shore drop-off to the gates. We recommend checking the official Acrisure Stadium parking page before your visit to confirm current lot assignments and road closure schedules.
Address: 100 Art Rooney Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212
Phone: (412) 323-1200

PPG Paints Arena
PPG Paints Arena (1001 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219) is home to the Pittsburgh Penguins and one of the most active mid-size arenas in Pennsylvania, hosting 200-plus events a year including NHL games, major concerts, family shows, and wrestling. The arena seats 18,387 for hockey and sits at the southern edge of the Cultural District — close to Downtown hotels, but parking in the Fifth and Centre Avenue corridor is extremely limited for non-premium ticket holders, and the Consol Energy Center garage fills quickly. Charter bus drop-off uses Fifth Avenue on the arena's north side, steps from the main entrance lobby.
After the game or concert, coordinate your pickup window in advance so the bus is there and your group isn't standing on Fifth Avenue competing with rideshare traffic. We recommend reviewing the official PPG Paints Arena parking page before your visit.
Address: 1001 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219
Phone: (412) 642-1800

PNC Park
PNC Park (115 Federal St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212) has been called the best ballpark in Major League Baseball more than once, and the view of the Roberto Clemente Bridge and the Downtown skyline from the right field seats is the proof. It sits on the North Shore directly east of Acrisure Stadium, with the Allegheny River between the park and the Golden Triangle. The North Shore Surface Lots open two hours before first pitch and run $30–$40 per game — they fill fast for weekend games and promotional nights.
Charter bus drop-off is available on Federal Street, directly in front of the main home plate entrance. The Clemente Bridge is pedestrian-only on game days and makes the walk from the North Shore drop-off to Gate 1 genuinely easy. After the game, coordinate post-game pickup on Federal Street to avoid the lot-exit crawl.
Regular season runs April through September. Check the official PNC Park directions and parking page for current lot details.
Address: 115 Federal St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

Carnegie Museum of Natural History
Carnegie Museum of Natural History (4400 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213) in Oakland holds one of the ten best natural history collections in the country — the Dinosaur Hall alone draws school groups from across the tri-state region, and the Hillman Hall of Minerals and Gems is a favorite for adult group tours. It shares a building with the Carnegie Museum of Art and sits on Forbes Avenue at Schenley Plaza, directly across from the Carnegie Mellon University campus. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Group admissions and timed-entry reservations are available for groups of 15 or more and should be arranged at least two weeks in advance. Charter bus drop-off is on Forbes Avenue in front of the main entrance; bus parking is available in nearby Schenley Plaza surface lots. Oakland parking is tight on weekdays when the University of Pittsburgh is in session — a charter bus cuts out the surface lot scramble entirely.

Heinz History Center
Senator John Heinz History Center (1212 Smallman St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222) is the largest history museum in Pennsylvania and a Smithsonian affiliate, occupying a former ice warehouse in the Strip District just steps from the Allegheny River. The six-story building holds the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum, a Sports Hall of Fame wing, and rotating exhibits covering everything from the steel industry to Pittsburgh's immigration history. The museum is open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Strip District on weekends draws enormous crowds to the Penn Avenue and Smallman Street produce and retail corridor — street parking is essentially nonexistent by 10 a.m. Saturday morning. Charter bus drop-off is available on Smallman Street at the main entrance; bus staging is available on adjacent blocks in the Strip.
For groups of 20 or more, contact the museum's group sales department for discounted admission and guided tour reservations. Check the official Heinz History Center visitor page for current hours and group policies.

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens (One Schenley Park, Pittsburgh, PA 15213) is a Victorian-era glasshouse in Schenley Park that has become one of the most recognized sustainable buildings in the world — it's the only building to hold five separate green certifications simultaneously. The conservatory draws over 400,000 visitors annually for its seasonal flower shows, including the wildly popular Holiday Magic display in November and December that books group visits weeks in advance. Open daily (Tuesday through Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended evening hours during special shows), Phipps sits at the edge of Oakland near Panther Hollow Road and is directly adjacent to Carnegie Mellon University.
Schenley Park parking is extremely limited during special shows — your group charter bus drops everyone at the Frew Street entrance and the bus waits in nearby Schenley Park surface areas.
